Let’s kick off the Best of 2008 a wee bit early with the legendary Steve Langford/Sour Shoes prank call from the Stern Show. It took nearly two years to complete this masterpiece.

Lesser-known facts about Sour Shoes:

1. He does not actually live with his parents. He has his own place. His parents live nearby.

2. He lives off investments he made as a college student.

3. He went to Columbia and did some post-grad at Berkeley. 

4. He really does volunteer most of his time to play with disabled kids. His favorite activity is teaching them to play softball.

5. He has had girlfriends and sex.

6. He loves to cook. Especially for other people. 

7. It’s the worst when he calls while you’re in the middle of something and you have to just say “I love you, Sour Shoes” and hang up.
