The biggest song here in the hood two weeks ago. On Hot97 and Power105 once an hour, booming from every car, sung aloud by (otherwise very scary) schoolchildren. But by the time the video’s out, some other song is hotter - it takes a couple weeks for everything to catch up. Or never catch up. It’s a perpetual hood chase, a doom of chorus snippets and questions like: ‘What’s that “wee-oo-wee-oo-wee” song?’ [via]
